Calgary, AB – Kevin King scored four goals and added two assists to guide the Star Valley to a 12-2 route over the Sanjel at Flames Community Arenas - Gold on Sunday.

Adding markers for the Star Valley was Bryn Gagnon and Matthew Painchaud with a pair of goals each and Joel Wentworth, Kevin Lessard, Brady Ramsay and Mark Kunitz with a goal each. Lessard and Wentworth each added three assists, King, Kunitz, Ramsay, Ryan Knievel and Sean Pollard each added two assists. Goaltender Colter Depaoli picked up the win for the Star Valley giving up two goals.

Striking for the Sanjel was Chris Lee and Jordan Johnson chipping in with a goal each. Goaltender Scott LeDrew surrendered 12 goals in the loss for the Sanjel.

With the win, the Star Valley improve to 1-0-0-0 while the Sanjel fall to 0-1-0-0.
